Associate’s degree: 2 years technical Associate Degree or 5 to 7 years of work experience
Target bill rate: ***

Overtime: Yes, as per the business need during weekdays and weekends
Travel: Yes
What percentage or how often: 50%, out of which 60% is domestic and 40% is international
Where will they need to travel: domestic (Majority- TMMI, TMMTX) and international travel
If International, to/from which countries: Canada – Woodstock and Cambridge
Will it be for meetings/observation: Equipment buyoff under business activity
How soon after the offer will they be required to travel: Any time depends on the business need
IF travel would be scheduled more than 3 months dispatch would be available: Max 1-2 weeks
Experience level: minimum 5 or more years (depends on degree)
Requires Steel Toe Boots (Y/N): Yes
Other important information:
Candidate must have experience concerning Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatics.
Candidate must have equipment procurement and new machinery installation and existing machinery maintenance experience.
Microsoft Office experience required.
Schematic reading and understanding concerning equipment installation and tolerances.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Should have experience in service and maintenance of plastic molding machines.
Should be able to work with different teams.
Interview Process: STAR format interview (Considering customers’ situation)
Interview 1: MS teams or in-person depends on the candidate (60 minutes = 45 interview section + 15 QNA) (Panel Interview)

Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Plastics Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Seibi technician.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead in quality development and confirmation of new model plastic shop equipment and processes to ensure KPI’s are achieved prior to the North American Manufacturing Centers hand-over milestone.
Reporting to the Machine Group Manager, the person in this role will support the Plastics Production Engineering department's objective to launch high quality new model plastic components to the North American Manufacturing Centers.
What you’ll be doing
Providing hands-on support of new model equipment development regarding risk assessment, specification, installation, and trials
Identifying equipment problems and implementing countermeasures
Leading installation activities related to interior/exterior plastics equipment/processes, robot teaching, trial support, coordinating trial activities, and assisting NAMC’s as needed
Assisting in specification reviews/vendor trials for new process equipment
Support standardized work development, team member training, and quality control plan documentation, etc.
Support engineering, manufacturing activities, and technical reporting
Support equipment commissioning through Kanban process
What you bring
Experience in PLC troubleshooting/programming such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Toyopuc, etc.
Experience in new model launch for automotive and or manufacturing
Experience in robot teaching such as Denso, Yasakawa, Nachi, Kawasaki, or similar
Experience in automotive manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, robots, assembly work cells, punch machines, milling machines, etc.
Able to travel up to 50%, and able to travel internationally (Canada, Japan, etc.)
Technical degree or higher
What you may bring
TUV technician certification
OSHA10 certification
Minimum of five years automotive experience preferred
Passed TBP thru panel
